We keep the name, email, phone, delivery address and what you bought so we can pack your fudge and look up later orders for the same email. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not sell that information.

Cart contents are stored in your browser. Newsletter sign-up is used only to send cottage updates.

After an order is paid, the confirmation page can show Google Customer Reviews. If you agree in that box, Google receives your email, invoice number, delivery country and estimated delivery date, then emails a short survey once the fudge should have arrived. Those answers are what let a store rating appear on Google. You can decline in the box.

Cookies

Essential cookies keep the shop working: your cart in this browser, Stripe checkout, and the cottage login if you use it. These run whether you accept or reject.

Page visits on the live shop are counted for the cottage stats, including incognito browsers and visitors who reject cookies. That count does not use a cookie. Optional cookies are only set if you press Accept. You can change that choice any time.

The order confirmation page also loads Google’s survey script so you can choose whether to receive that review email. That script is part of the paid order, including when optional cookies are off.
